I was expecting a well presented product starting from the box. These boots are not cheap. It will be nice if Amazon puts more careful on the items they send and make sure that they are NEW (including the box)I've been wearing Wolverines for at least 25 yrs. I've spent 35 yrs. on concrete and have not found anything as comfortable as these. I particularly like the durashock soles. I have just recently started to buy the steel toe model, and the comfort level is exactly the same. I have even bought a second pair before( not in steel toed) to work around the house and in the yard just because of the comfort . I have noticed that even after a 10 to 12 hour shift on occasion , my feet are still comfortable. I've tried other brands such as Red Wings, Catipillar, etc. and have discovered that I just waisted my money. I've even throwed them away after a couple of months because I could not get home fast enough to get them off because my feet and legs hurt so bad. I purchased the other brands before because I could not find the Wolverines in stores that I wanted, especially in my size(14D) until I discovered Amazon. The durashock sole also is easy on the knees and hips and after wearing them for awhile you WILL tell the difference. The other thing I love about these boots is that there is no break-in period . They are comfortable from day 1. You can get this model boot with or without steel toes. You don't even have to order a size bigger because of the steel toes as you might have to with the other brands.Thumbs up to Wolverine and to Amazon. Don't waist your time driving around and using your gas to shop for boots. Amazon has saved me lots over the years.I have been buying the same boot for over 40 years! Best boot ever!!!!!!!!!!!!I cured my planters fasciitis with these shoes.As someone who has been searching for good work boots for a while now, these boots are great. My last pair was a pair of Dickies from Walmart for $80. No beuno. I threw these on and went to work, didn't need broke in, and the heels feel great on concrete. I work 9 hours a day and when I get home I have very little heel pain. Most of my early adult hood I bought cheap boots from Walmart. You know the $30 pair or so. Trust me don't skimp! In the long run you will destroy your feet. If you're skeptical take my word and try these out. My only complaint is the fabric starting to scuff and fade after a week of being worn, but whatever my feet feel great. Thank you wolverine!!Awesome boots.
