Stupid Frickin Comfortable! Seriously though. I bought these because I originally wanted a pair of BlundStone Chelsea boots and/or Red Back Chelsea boots. But then I watched Rose Anvil on youtube cut all three of these boots in half and these were the clear winner in terms of build quality. I take a lot of time to do research before I buy anything because I'm a Nerd. The leather was extremely soft right out of the box, no break in needed. I did however rub in some Red Wing leather cream right away just for a little bit of added protection, but the leather was very hydrated out the box. There is no need to immediately oil these. I also have pretty narrow feet and these boots are nice and snug. So if you have wide feet I would stay away from these boots.The one thing I want to know is if the sole will stand the test of time.I will return to update this review... ( If I can get one full year out of these I will buy again. )*UPDATE*So it has been almost two years of wearing these boots for work. Let me just start by saying these are still hands down the most comfortable boots I've ever had. They are till waterproof and they are still in pretty good shape. They've darkened up a lot because of oiling them multiple times ( a few times to specifically make them darker. ) but they have held up very well! I'm about to order my second pair actually. The heels on these are just now starting to show some wear, I do not drag my feet when I walk. If you do I'd expect to see a lot more where. See the details in the updated photos. Overall thoughts.If you want a nice and comfortable work boot that isn't a steel toe. Buy these. Your feet wont hurt anymore. Mine sure don't. They are a high quality pair of slip on boots. Well worth the money... Don't think about it. Just buy...
